New renders have leaked for the first wave of upcoming Googlebooks from Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo, ahead of the start of pre-orders.
Reported by Android Headlines, while the leaks for ASUS and Lenovo offer no major surprises following previous leaks, this is the first time we get a look at Acer's device design following the official silhouette tease at IFA 2026.
Newly Leaked Renders
A total of four images were leaked: one showing all three devices side-by-side, and three individual shots of each laptop. All images display only the left side of the devices.
The Lenovo model, identified as the 15.3-inch Lenovo Googlebook i (15", 12), has already seen both render leaks and detailed spec leaks. The ASUS model, the ASUS Googlebook CX9406, also previously had its design leaked.
For Acer, while some specs were leaked by retailers for the Acer Googlebook 14 GP714-91N, this is the first look at the actual design of the device.
The images also confirm the presence of the Glow Bar on the top lid, showing that its placement varies across manufacturers.
Pre-Orders Set to Start September 21
Google held a media preview event on September 15 and announced that pre-orders for Googlebooks will open on September 21. However, Google has not yet publicly revealed official details about the Googlebooks.
While Google has announced a celebration event for October 5 to showcase Googlebooks, product details are typically revealed before pre-orders open. Therefore, some official information is expected by September 21, though Google has yet to issue an official announcement.
Google plans to launch its initial 2026 Googlebook lineup across five manufacturers: ASUS, Acer, Lenovo, HP, and Dell. Alongside the three models shown in these leaked renders, three additional models are expected, bringing the total to six devices.
