A detailed spec sheet for the 15.3-inch model in Lenovo's Googlebook lineup, the "Lenovo Googlebook i (15″, 12)", has leaked.

This information was obtained by Mac Observer, which reports the device is registered under the model number "Lenovo GB 15IPH12". However, certification records have already confirmed that this device will be the "Lenovo Googlebook i (15″, 12)".

What's New in This Leak

As indicated by previous information, the display features a 15.3-inch 2,880 × 1,800 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits of brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

This new leak reveals the device's physical dimensions (341 × 236 × 15.9 mm) and confirms that, despite its large 15.3-inch metal chassis, it weighs approximately 1.29kg (2.84 lbs).

Additionally, the battery capacity is listed at 70Wh, delivering up to 11 hours of video playback. For context, the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus, which also features an Intel Core processor and an OLED display, reported a video playback time of 11 to 12 hours.

Corroborating Previous Reports

In this leak, as previously confirmed via Geekbench and other sources, it was revealed that the CPU is an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 paired with either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB.

The I/O port selection is also confirmed, featuring two Thunderbolt 4 (USB4) ports, one USB-A port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

Furthermore, the leak includes the large 150×95mm haptic touchpad—which was previously uncovered from development code—as well as support for fingerprint and facial recognition. It also comes equipped with Wi-Fi 7 / Bluetooth 5.4, a 5MP RGB webcam with a privacy shutter, and Dolby Atmos-certified speakers.

On the software side, descriptions of Gemini Intelligence assistance point to features like "Magic Pointer," "Cast My Apps," and "Device Intelligence".

Mention of Peripherals

The leaked document, likely derived from Lenovo's PSREF data, also lists the "Lenovo AI Mouse for Googlebook" as an accessory.

While details of this mouse were already revealed via FCC certification, this suggests that Lenovo may introduce dedicated peripherals alongside its first wave of Googlebook releases.

Preparations for Launch

With the leak of what appears to be an official spec sheet for the "Lenovo Googlebook i (15", 12)", it appears that preparations for its launch are nearly complete.

While pricing and the exact release date for the "Lenovo Googlebook i (15", 12)" remain unannounced, the specifications rival the highest-end Chromebook Plus models, making it almost certain that the price will be above $1,000.
