HP Googlebook 14c Detailed Configuration Confirmed
The HP Googlebook 14c has been registered in the Energy Star certification database. This confirms that the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor, 32GB of RAM, and a touchscreen. Additionally, since Japan is included in the target markets, a release in Japan is also expected.
Acer Teaser and Lenovo Stylus Pen Details
At IFA 2026, Acer teased that it will announce a Googlebook soon. A silhouette image suggests it could be a 14-inch convertible.

This confirms that “Mica” is a Dell XPS, while “Pic” is manufactured by Lenovo, and “Hekla” by ASUS.
New 'Look up' App and Device Intelligence Features
A new app for Googlebook, “Look up,” has appeared on the Google Play Store. This search tool allows users to select text on the screen, reference public Google services, and get explanations or translations through a conversational interface with Gemini.
Additionally, early builds have revealed details about the Device Intelligence app, which features AI-powered automatic local file sorting and the ability to directly add files in cooperation with Gemini Notebook.
Cast trackpad and Enhanced Smartphone Integration
Google is developing a Cast trackpad feature that allows a smartphone screen to be used as a remote trackpad for a Googlebook.
Furthermore, Google Play Services v26.34 has introduced features for accessing smartphone files and viewing/managing notifications directly from a Googlebook.
