Acer has reportedly teased the upcoming launch of its first Googlebook at IFA 2026, marking it as "coming soon."
This was shared with photos by Android Authority. Although the published images show the device's physical silhouette, further details remain unrevealed. Since Google is scheduled to host a media event for the Googlebook in New York City on September 15, Acer’s Googlebook is highly likely to be officially announced around the same time.
Identifiable Design Features
Based on the images of the Googlebook, the shape of the hinges and the shadow of the rubber feet in front of the keyboard suggest a design very similar to Acer's existing convertible models.
Since prior development leaks also pointed to a convertible form factor, it is highly anticipated that this will indeed be a convertible Googlebook.
Other visible features include a webcam privacy shutter, speakers flanking both sides of the keyboard, and a screen size that appears to be a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Additionally, a Google Pixel smartphone is pictured alongside the device in the photos, hinting at integration features with Pixel and Android devices.

According to earlier reports, Acer's Googlebook is being developed under the codename "Moonstone" and is expected to be released under the product name "Acer Googlebook GP714-91N."
Furthermore, Geekbench leaks have revealed two main configurations: one with an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and 16GB of RAM, and another with an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 and 32GB of RAM. Retailer listings also suggest that the device will feature a 14-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,880×1,800.
