A fresh deep dive into the development code of "Aneto", a new board in Google’s Snapdragon X-powered "Bluey" Googlebook series, has revealed new battery references and OEM logo configurations pointing to Acer as the manufacturer.
While Aneto is being developed as a Snapdragon X model ported from the Intel Wildcat Lake board "Matsu," these latest findings help confirm the vendor behind the device.
OEM Logo Code Identifies Acer

Originally Hinted as an HP Device
Initially, Aneto was thought to be an HP device based on battery descriptions. The battery part number matched the one used in HP’s Snapdragon X Elite Googlebook, "Quartz."
However, because the Quanta developer who submitted the commit works on Googlebooks for both HP and Acer, the manufacturer remained unconfirmed at the time. A subsequent commit removed the HP battery part number and replaced it with "cosmx-ap23cbp"—a model previously used in Acer devices—increasing the probability of Acer being the maker.
Now, the confirmation of Acer’s OEM logo identifier adds decisive proof supporting Acer’s involvement.
Likely to Feature Snapdragon X Plus (X1P-42-100)
In Aneto’s source code, the SoC SOC_QUALCOMM_X1P42100 (Snapdragon X Plus) is explicitly referenced. This follows the exact same pattern seen in "Annite" and "Pic", which inherited code from Mica but swapped Snapdragon X Elite for the X Plus.
Unlike Bluey-based boards like Quartz and Mica that feature Snapdragon X Elite (Hamoa), boards like Annite, Pic, Meru, and now Aneto all point to the X Plus chip, indicating that Aneto will likely target the mid-tier "Mass Premium" market.
