The device was previously spotted on Lenovo's official website listed as the "Aluminium Premium – Lenovo Duet 13M9611". Based on the company's naming conventions, this indicated a tablet-style Googlebook packing a 13-inch display and a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 (MT8196) processor.
Given the current landscape of Googlebook development, Lenovo's Sapphire is the only tablet-form factor device slated to use the Kompanio Ultra 910. This makes it safe to conclude that the "Duet 13M9611" and Sapphire are one and the same.
Now, a recent dive into the Bluetooth SIG certification database for this specific model number reveals it officially registered under the moniker "Lenovo Googlebook Duet m (13″, 11)."
This naming scheme aligns perfectly with what we've seen from Lenovo's Chromebook lineup in recent years: the "m" denotes MediaTek, the "13" stands for the display size, and the "11" represents the generation.
The fact that the Kompanio Ultra 910 carries the MT8196 model number ties perfectly into the "13M9611" designation, essentially confirming that the Sapphire project will launch as the Lenovo Googlebook Duet m (13″, 11).
As of right now, we don't have our hands on the official spec sheet. Expect more concrete details to surface as we get closer to the official announcement.
