Registered in the FCC database on July 7, 2026, under the ID "A5M-SE01," the submitted documents confirm that the pen is designed for the Googlebook and reveal several of its key specifications.
Pen features detailed in the user manual
According to the user manual included in the regulatory filing, the "Lenovo Pen Pro for Googlebook" adopts the USI standard. The documentation notes that the pen tip handles standard clicking, tapping, and writing on the display, while the top of the stylus functions as a dedicated eraser.
Additionally, the filing reveals support for the following gesture controls:

The manual includes an illustration demonstrating how the pen magnetically attaches to the back of a device.
This diagram depicts the back of a tablet featuring a design entirely distinct from Lenovo’s existing Chromebook Duet series. This strongly suggests it could be the anticipated Googlebook codenamed "Sapphire," previously identified by the model number "Duet 13M9611."
As of now, however, no independent FCC filings have been spotted for the Sapphire (Duet 13M9611) device itself.
